Why Attend?
Sometimes we can go round in circles trying to figure out what to do and it feels like our head will explode. Well-meaning family and friends give us their tuppence-worth on what they think we ‘should’ do, and then we feel the pressure mounting.
Talking to a counsellor who is independent, not emotionally involved and who has no agenda, is an option you might consider.

I work in the way that best suits you; we can just chat, we can explore with creative intervention or we can work with worksheets.
I am open to exploring what is the best and most effective way to bring about change and a different perspective to my client’s problems. You are in control of what areas of your life you want to talk about. Sometimes it is painful and difficult, but at others it’s liberating, enlightening and life-changing.
My experience and skill will help us to shed light on unhelpful and helpful behaviour patterns and find ways together to negotiate a clear path. Through the counselling, your self-awareness will grow and develop and empower you to move forward with your life.
I have experience in many areas including anxiety, depression, affairs and betrayals, anger, bereavement, life transitions, abuse, low self-esteem and low self-confidence, separation and divorce, stress. I have a particular interest in relationship issues.
The quality of the relationship between therapist and client is absolutely vital and key to the success of the process and experience.
Honesty, transparency and open-ness are also key ingredients which stem from trust which builds up over time.
I have an accepting and non-judgemental and collaborative approach to counselling. I am not easily shocked and, whilst I cannot presume to know how you are feeling, I can empathise and help you to accept your situation or implement change. It is entirely your choice.

"I would recommend Audrey as a counsellor, she made me feel at ease and I was able to communicate with her freely."
