What Happens?

You are invited to attend for a first session where we talk about what the problem is, and explore if I have adequate experience in the area you need help with.  We go over the contract and establish expectations.  If I feel I can’t help you, then I will do my best to help you find someone who can.

The length of time counselling takes varies from person to person, but we would regularly review our progress. There is no obligation to continue if you don’t want to, or if you decide, once you start, that it is not working for you, and the contract can be terminated at any time.

After this initial appointment, you attend, generally speaking, for an hour once a week.

There is the option to meet via Zoom or face-to-face. If face-to-face, I hire a room at the local church in Milton of Campsie. There is an additional charge of £4 if face-to-face as there is a charge of £8 made for the room and the cost is then split between us.

Testimonial

"My first experience with counselling was with Audrey and despite have our meetings over Zoom she made me feel really comfortable, at ease and validated. Not at any point did I feel judged or misunderstood and I came away from each session having had constructive conversations."
